LINCOLN, NEBRASKA — This week, Rep. Mike Flood (R-NE) joined Rep. Max Miller (R-OH) and a group of bipartisan Members of Congress to introduce the Farm to Fly Act, which improves federal regulations to help pave the way for more sustainable aviation fuels production.
Alongside Rep. Flood, original cosponsors include Reps. Ashley Hinson (R-IA), Randy Feenstra (R-IA), Angie Craig (D-MN), and Brad Finstad (R-MN), as well as Nikki Budzinski (D-IL) and Jasmine Crockett (D-TX).
Renewable Fuels Nebraska Executive Director Dawn Caldwell issued the following statement in support of the legislation: “Nebraska has long helped feed the world. And more and more each day, we’re fueling it, too. We’re grateful to Reps. Flood, Miller, and their bipartisan colleagues for introducing this crucial bill that will provide more stability and clarity around developing sustainable aviation fuel — and create even more opportunities for Nebraska farmers, ranchers, and producers to do what they do best.”
