RFN Lauds Governor Pete Ricketts

Today, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts declared May, 2017, Renewable Fuels Month by way of proclamation.
Nebraska is the second largest ethanol producing state in the nation, producing nearly 2.2 billion gallons, consuming 700 million bushels of Nebraska corn annually.
Renewable Fuels Nebraska (RFN) commends the steps the Governor has taken to elevate the importance of renewable fuels to the Nebraska economy, farmers, and consumers.
"Today is an important day to our industry as the Governor welcomes and recognizes officially renewable fuels month in Nebraska. Governor Ricketts is a true champion of our industry, and we are excited to work with him in his role as a key leader in the Governors Biofuels Coalition," said Mark Palmer, Executive Director of RFN.
RFN represents the ethanol producers of Nebraska of 25 plants, and its industry partners.
