April 28, 2017

Lincoln, NE

RFN Executive Director, Mark Palmer to address FEW in Minneapolis, MN June 20, 2017, on Ethanol 101 and the genesis of the Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS).

The FEW is the seminal domestic trade show dedicated to renewable fuels, and the technical aspects of ethanol.  "I am thrilled, again, this year to kick off the FEW with a presentation on the genesis of the RFS, in Ethanol 101.  I thank Tim Portz, and BBI for the opportunity."

Palmer spent many years in Washington, DC working on the RFS as key staff member in 2003, and 2007.  And then 2007 as a representative of agriculture industry.  The RFS is the bedrock of America's domestic renewable fuels policy and has propelled Nebraska to second in production nationally with 2.25 billion gallons in production. Nebraska is home to 25 ethanol plants.

RFN is the premier organization representing Nebraska's ethanol interests and its producers.
